PASSING OUT PARADE CEREMONY FOR ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES MALE RECRUITS OF THE 175TH INTAKE AND FEMALE RECRUITS OF THE 59TH INTAKE

PENANJONG GARRISON, 20 December 2024– The Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) marked a significant milestone today with the successful completion of Basic Military Training by 124 male recruits of the 175th Intake and 46 female recruits of the 59th Intake. A Passing Out Parade Ceremony was held at the Parade Square, Penanjong Garrison, to honour the recruits' achievements and perseverance throughout their basic training.

Gracing the ceremony as the Guest of Honour was Captain Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, RBN, Acting Commander of the Royal Brunei Navy. Also present, were Deputy and Acting Deputy Services Commanders, senior officers, officers and personnel from Royal Brunei Armed Forces as well as family members of the recruits.

The parade commenced with an inspection by the Guest of Honour, followed by a spirited march-past that showcased the discipline and dedication instilled in the recruits during their training. The Guest of Honour then delivered a keynote address that emphasised the enduring importance of RBAF's core values and discipline, as well as the necessity for physical, mental, and spiritual resilience to excel in their military careers.

The address highlighted the crucial role that these newly trained soldiers will play in upholding the sovereignty, peace, and security of Negara Brunei Darussalam. The Guest of Honour extended heartfelt congratulations to the recruits for their accomplishments and reminded them of their responsibility to embody the highest standards of professionalism and integrity as members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.

In recognition of exemplary performances throughout the training, awards were presented to outstanding recruits and instructors. The award recipients for the 175th Male Recruits,for Overall Best Recruit goes to 55996 Rec (U) Muhammad Harith bin Dahlan, for Best in Military Skill to 55901 Rec Mohammad Syazwan bin Mohammad Khairulannuar, for Best in Light Weapon Training to 55959 Rec Md Shahezzul bin Sariman and for Best in Physical Training to 55937 Rec Muhammad Illiya Wafiuddin Bin Abdullah Romie.

Additionally, 51682 Cpl Muhamad Far'an bin Hamdani@Lileysurayani was awarded the Best Section Commander, and 51012 Cpl Mohammad Khairul Azwan bin Abd Hamid received the Best Platoon Sergeant Award for their exceptional leadership and commitment throughout the training period.

For the 59th Intake of Female Recruits, the award recipient for Overall Best Recruit goes to 22419 Rec Multazamah Siti Zuhairah Binti Zulkifli, for Best in Military Skills to 22422 Rec Nuha Nadzirah binti Abdullah Md Salleh, for Best in Light Weapon Training to 22426 Rec Ummi Shuheida binti Mohd Nurfadillah and for Best in Physical Training to 22391 Rec Nursyafiqah Nabilah binti Mohammad Haslan. Further accolade were presented to 21871 LCpl Farah Izzah@ Fatin Faizah Binti Samat who received the Best Section Commander Award.

The ceremony concluded with the recitation of doa by 1123 Captain Abdul Mu'iz Azizi bin Zulkifli, from  the RBAF Religious Directorate.

Today's Passing Out Parade not only marks the culmination of weeks of basic training, but also celebrates the recruits' transformation into disciplined and capable members of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces. Their determination and perseverance are a testament to their readiness to contribute to the security, stability, and sovereignty of Negara Brunei Darussalam.

As they step into their roles as soldiers, they carry forward the pride and honour of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, continuing the legacy of service and dedication to the nation.


UPACARA PERBARISAN TAMAT LATIHAN BAGI REKRUT LELAKI PENGAMBILAN KE-175 DAN REKRUT WANITA PENGAMBILAN KE-59 ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI


PENANJONG GARISON, 20 Disember 2024– Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) hari ini mencatat satu lagi detik bersejarah dengan kejayaan 124 rekrut lelaki Pengambilan Ke-175 dan 46 rekrut wanita Pengambilan Ke-59 yang telah menamatkan Latihan Asas Ketenteraan mereka. Upacara Perbarisan Tamat Latihan telah diadakan di Padang Kawad, Penanjong Garison, bagi meraikan pencapaian dan ketabahan para rekrut sepanjang tempoh latihan asas.

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Kepten Haji Mohamad Sarif Pudin Bin Matserudin, TLDB, Pemangku Pemerintah, Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei. Turut hadir ialah Timbalan dan Pemangku Timbalan Pemerintah Angkatan Tentera, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, Pegawai-pegawai dan anggota-anggota dari Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei dan ahli-ahli keluarga rekrut.

Upacara bermula dengan pemeriksaan perbarisan oleh Tetamu Kehormat, diikuti dengan perbarisan berjalan lalu yang penuh semangat, mempamerkan disiplin dan ketrampilan yang diterapkan kepada para rekrut sepanjang latihan mereka. Tetamu Kehormat kemudian menyampaikan ucapan yang menekankan pentingnya nilai-nilai teras ABDB dan disiplin serta kepentingan untuk terus mengekalkan ketahanan fizikal, mental, dan kerohanian sebagai asas dalam mengharungi kerjaya mereka sebagai anggota tentera.

Dalam ucapan tersebut, beliau juga mengingatkan para rekrut mengenai peranan penting mereka dalam mendokong kedaulatan, keamanan, dan keselamatan Negara Brunei Darussalam. Tetamu Kehormat turut merakamkan ucapan tahniah atas pencapaian mereka dan menyeru mereka agar sentiasa menunjukkan tahap profesionalisme dan integriti yang tinggi sebagai anggota Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.

Sebagai penghargaan kepada prestasi cemerlang sepanjang latihan, anugerah-anugerah telah disampaikan kepada rekrut-rekrut dan jurulatih-jurulatih yang menunjukkan kecemerlangan dalam kategori masing-masing. Bagi Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke 175, Rekrut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh 55996 Rek (U) Muhammad Harith bin Dahlan, bagi Kemahiran Ketenteraan Terbaik kepada 55901 Rek Mohammad Syazwan bin Mohammad Khairulannuar, bagi Latihan Senjata Ringan Terbaik kepada 55959 Rek Md Shahezzul bin Sariman dan Latihan Jasmani Terbaik kepada 55937 Rek Muhammad Illiya Wafiuddin Bin Abdullah Romie

Selain itu, 51682 Kpl Muhamad Far'an bin Hamdani@Lileysurayani telah menerima Anugerah Ketua Seksyen Terbaik, manakala 51012 Kpl Mohammad Khairul Azwan bin Abd Hamid dianugerahkan sebagai Platun Sarjan Terbaik atas kepimpinan dan komitmen yang cemerlang disepanjang tempoh latihan.

Bagi Rekrut Wanita Pengambilan Ke-59 pula, Rekrut Terbaik Keseluruhan disandang oleh 22419 Rek Multazamah Siti Zuhairah Binti Zulkifli, bagi Kemahiran Ketenteraan Terbaik kepada 22422 Rek Nuha Nadzirah binti Abdullah Md Salleh, bagi Latihan Senjata Ringan Terbaik kepada 22426 Rek Ummi Shuheida binti Mohd Nurfadillah dan Latihan Jasmani Terbaik kepada 22391 Rek Nursyafiqah Nabilah binti Mohammad Haslan.  Penghargaan juga diberikan kepada 21871 Lkpl Farah Izzah@ Fatin Faizah Binti Samat, yang menerima Anugerah Ketua Seksyen Terbaik.

Upacara ini diakhiri dengan bacaan doa oleh 1123 Kapten Abdul Mu'iz Azizi bin Zulkifli daripada Jabatanarah Agama ABDB (JA'MAAT).

Upacara Perbarisan Tamat Latihan ini bukan sahaja menandakan berakhirnya latihan asas ketenteraan, tetapi juga meraikan transformasi para rekrut menjadi anggota ABDB yang berdisiplin dan professional kearah kesediaan mereka untuk menyumbang kepada keselamatan, kestabilan, dan kedaulatan Negara Brunei Darussalam.

Sebagai anggota tentera yang baharu menamatkan latihan asas, mereka membawa bersama semangat dan kebanggaan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, meneruskan legasi khidmat bakti dan dedikasi kepada negara tercinta.
