PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday, 13 December 2024 – The Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony for the Intermediate Clerks Course Series 2/2024, conducted by the Clerks Training Wing, School of Military Trade, Training Institute of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, was successfully held. Present as the Guest of Honour for this event was Captain Norhazwani binti Hj Bidin, the Officer in Charge of the Officers Wing, Directorate of Personnel, Ministry of Defence. Also in attendance were the Acting Head of the Clerks Training Wing, invited officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (SNCOs), the Sergeant Major, instructors, and assistant instructors of the Clerks Training Wing from the Royal Brunei Land Force.
The course spanned four (4) weeks, commencing on 15 November 2024 and concluding on 13 December 2024, with a total of thirty (30) participants. These included five (5) participants from the Royal Brunei Land Force, five (5) from the Royal Brunei Navy, five (5) from the Royal Brunei Air Force, one (1) from the Training Institute of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, thirteen (13) from the Ministry of Defence, and one (1) from the Special Forces Regiment.
The course aimed to provide in-depth training and knowledge in the clerical field, enhancing the skills and expertise of Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) clerks who will assume the role of Chief Clerk. Over the course duration, the trainers imparted a wide range of knowledge and skills, covering not only clerical matters but also management and the execution of official functions.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by the presentation of certificates and a speech by the Guest of Honour.
In his address, the Guest of Honour congratulated all the course participants and emphasised the importance of professionalism in their duties. He advised participants to adhere to standing orders, reference materials, and guidance from superior officers or senior clerks. The event concluded with the formal closure of the Intermediate Clerks Course Series 2/2024 by the Guest of Honour.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL DAN PENUTUPAN KURSUS KERANI PERTENGAHAN SIRI 2/2024
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 13 Disember 2024 – Majlis Penyampaian Sijil dan Penutupan Kursus Kerani Pertengahan Siri 2/2024 yang dikendalikan oleh Cawangan Latihan Kerani, Sekolah Pertukangan Tentera, Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei telah sempurna dilaksanakan. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat bagi majlis ini ialah Kapten Norhazwani binti Hj Bidin, Pegawai Penguasa Cawangan Pegawai, Jabatanarah Keanggotaan, Kementerian Pertahanan. Turut hadir ialah Pemangku Ketua Cawangan Latihan Kerani, Pegawai-pegawai, PTB Kanan dan jemputan khas, Sekolah Sarjan Mejar, Jurulatih-jurulatih Cawangan Latihan Kerani dan jurulatih bantuan dari Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei.
Kursus Kerani Pertengahan Siri 2/2024 telah dilaksanakan selama empat (04) minggu bermula pada 15 November 2024 hingga 13 Disember 2024 yang dihadiri oleh tiga puluh (30) anggota terdiri daripada lima (05) anggota Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei, lima (05) anggota Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei, lima (05) anggota Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei, satu (01) anggota Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, tiga belas (13) anggota Kementerian Pertahanan, dan, satu (01) anggota Rejimen Pasukan Khas.
Kursus ini bertujuan untuk melatih dan mengembangluaskan pengetahuan serta kemahiran anggota dalam bidang perkeranian bagi kerani-kerani ABDB yang akan memegang jawatan selaku Ketua Kerani. Sepanjang menghadiri kursus ini, pelbagai ilmu dan kemahiran telah didedahkan oleh para jurulatih bukan sahaja dalam bidang perkeranian, malahan juga dalam bidang pengurusan dan pelaksanaan majlis.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan penyampaian sijil serta ucapan daripada Tetamu Kehormat.
Dalam ucapannya, Yang Mulia Tetamu Kehormat merakamkan ucapan tahniah kepada semua peserta kursus dan menekankan agar dapat melaksanakan tugas dengan profesional berpandukan hukuman-hukuman tetap, buku-buku rujukan dan juga Pegawai-pegawai Atasan atau Kerani-kerani Kanan. Tetamu Kehormat mengakhiri ucapan beliau dengan Penutupan Rasmi Kursus Kerani Pertengahan Siri 2/2024.
