PENANJONG GARRISON, FRIDAY, 30 AUGUST 2024 – The Closing Ceremony for the Class 6 Driving Licence Course, Session 2024, was successfully held today at the Iveco Lecture Theatre, Driving Training Wing, School of Military Trade, Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Institute.
The guest of honour was Captain Muhd Khairi bin Ahmad Hussin. Also present at the ceremony were the Acting Head of Wing and instructors from the Driving Training Wing. This Class 6 Driving Licence Course, Session 2024, was conducted over four weeks, from August 5, 2024, to August 30, 2024, and was attended by thirty-four participants from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces (DA RBAF), Ministry of Defence, and the Special Forces Regiment (SFR).
The objective of the Class 6 Driving Licence Course is to obtain a Class 6 driving licence and to qualify participants from the Class 5 Driver Course to the standard of a Class 6 driver. Upon completing the course and passing the assessment, they will be recognised as Class 6 drivers. They are expected to know the procedures for driving heavy vehicles, such as controlling the vehicle safely, stopping abruptly when necessary, shifting gears smoothly, and driving according to regulations effectively and correctly.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL DAN PENUTUPAN KURSUS MEMANDU LESEN KELAS 6 SESI 2024
PENANJONG GARISON, JUMAAT, 30 OGOS 2024 - Majlis Penutupan Kursus Memandu Lesen Kelas 6 Sesi 2024 telah diadakan di Bilik Iveco, Cawangan Latihan Memandu, Sekolah Pertukangan Tentera Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku tetamu kehormat ialah Kpt Khairi bin Ahmad Hussin. Turut hadir ialah Pemangku Ketua Cawangan serta jurulatih-jurulatih Cawangan Latihan Memandu. Kursus Memandu Lesen Kelas 6 Sesi 2024 ini dikendalikan selama empat (04) minggu bermula 05 Ogos 2024 hingga 30 Ogos 2024 dan dihadiri seramai tiga puluh empat (34) anggota yang terdiri daripada Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Akademi Pertahanan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (AP ABDB), Kementerian Pertahanan dan Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK).
Objektif Kursus Memandu Lesen Kelas 6 ini adalah untuk mendapatkan lesen memandu kelas 6 dan menaik taraf peserta kursus yang memegang lesen Pemandu Kelas 5 ke taraf kelayakan sebagai Pemandu Kelas 6. Pengiktirafan sebagai Pemandu Kelas 6 ini mengesahkan keupayaan anggota memandu kenderaan berat seperti mengawal kenderaan dengan baik sama ada dalam keadaan selamat ataupun sewaktu berhenti secara serta-merta, mempunyai kemahiran menukar gear rendah kepada gear tinggi dan memandu mengikut peraturan memandu dengan baik dan betul.
