PENANJONG GARRISON, Juma'at, 08 September 2023 –  Upacara Menandatangani Risalah Undang-Undang Rahsia Rasmi Brunei Army Form (BAF) 122 bagi Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke-172 dan Rekrut Wanita Pengambilan ke-58 telah berlangsung di Dewan Nikmat, Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB).

Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat dan merasmikan Latihan Asas Ketenteraan Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke-172 dan Rekrut Wanita Pengambilan ke-58 ialah Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Amirul Adly bin Haji Ali, Pemangku Komandan IL ABDB. Turut hadir di upacara tersebut ialah Ahli Badan Eksekutif IL ABDB, Pegawai-Pegawai Jemputan, Sarjan Mejar Rejimen, PTB-PTB Kanan IL ABDB, jurulatih serta para ibu-bapa dan penjaga para rekrut.

Upacara dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan ucapan alu-aluan daripada Yang Mulia Tetamu Kehormat. Upacara diteruskan dengan sesi menandatangani Risalah Undang-Undang Rahsia Rasmi BAF 122, Lafaz angkat sumpah, Bacaan ikrar “Ikrar Kami" dan diakhiri dengan doa penutup.

Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke-172 adalah seramai 243 yang terdiri daripada 188 rekrut Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), 24 rekrut Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), 30 rekrut Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB). Manakala Rekrut Wanita Pengambilan ke-58 adalah seramai 60 yang terdiri daripada 48 rekrut Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), 05 Rekrut Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB) dan 07 Rekrut Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB).

BAF 122 SIGNING CEREMONY FOR 172^ND INTAKE MALE RECRUITS AND 58^TH INTAKE FEMALE RECRUITS

PENANJONG GARISON, Juma'at, 08 September 2023 – The Signing Ceremony of Brunei Army Form (BAF) 122 of 172nd Intake Male Recruits and the 58th Intake Female Recruits was conducted at the Cook House, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF).

Present as the Guest of Honour and officiated the Basic Military Training for Male Recruits of the 172nd Intake and Female Recruits of 58th Intake was Lieutenant Colonel Amirul Adly bin Haji Ali, the Acting Commandant of the TI RBAF. Also, in attendance to witness the Ceremony were the TI RBAF Board of Executive, Senior Officers, Officers, Regiment Sergeant Major, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, Instructors as well as the recruits' parents and guardians.
The Signing Ceremony started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by an opening remarks by the Guest of Honour. The Ceremony then proceeded with signing of BAF 122 followed by the undertaking of oath and concluded with the recitation of closing doa.
A total of 243 Male Recruits from the 172nd Intake comprising of 188 recruits from Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), 24 recruits from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and 30 recruits from Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF). Meanwhile, a total of 60 Female Recruits from the 58th Intake comprising 48 recruits from Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), 05 recruits from Royal Brunei Navy (RBN) and 07 recruits from Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF).
