PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 22 April 2025 – The Recruit Company of the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony in conjunction with the completion of basic training for the Male Recruits of Intake 176 at Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garrison.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Colonel Pg Noor Rumaizi bin Pg Othman, Commandant of TI RBAF. Also in attendance were the Acting Deputy Commandant of TI RBAF, Chief Instructor of TI RBAF, officers, the Regimental Sergeant Major, and permanent personnel of the Recruit Company.
The Qur'anic recitation began early in the recruits' training phase. The ceremony commenced with the collective recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah, led by Imam Muhammad Syazwan bin Muhammad Nazmi, Imam of Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garrison. It continued with the recitation of the closing chapters of the Qur'an (Khatam), Takhtim and Tahlil prayers, Dikir Marhaban, and the reading of the Doa Kesyukuran and Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam.
MAJLIS KHATAM AL-QURAN SEMPENA TAMAT LATIHAN REKRUT LELAKI PENGAMBILAN KE-176
PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin, 22 April 2025 – Kompeni Rekrut, Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) telah mengadakan Majlis Khatam Al-Quran sempena Tamat Latihan Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan Ke-176 bertempat di Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garison.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat majlis ialah Yang Mulia Kolonel Pg Noor Rumaizi bin Pg Othman, Komandan IL ABDB. Turut hadir bagi memeriahkan majlis ialah Pemangku Timbalan Komandan IL ABDB, Ketua Jurulatih IL ABDB, pegawai-pegawai, Sarjan Mejar Rejimen serta ahli-ahli tetap Kompeni Rekrut.
Tadarus Al-Quran ini telah bermula sejak awal latihan asas rekrut Pengambilan Ke-176. Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Sayyidul Istighfar dan Surah Al-Fatihah yang diketuai oleh Imam Muhammad Syazwan bin Muhammad Nazmi, Imam Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garison. Ia diteruskan dengan bacaan surah-surah khatam Al-Quran, Takhtim dan Tahlil, laungan zikir Marhaban beramai-ramai, Doa Kesyukuran serta Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam. Majlis turut diserikan dengan Solat Fardu Asar secara berjemaah, bacaan Selawat Badriyyah dan doa selepas solat, sebelum disudahi dengan sesi bergambar ramai.
