Bandar Seri Begawan, 27–28 October 2025 – The Logistics Training Wing, School of Military Trade, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), conducted a series of study visits for participants of the Basic Logistics Officer Course (BLOC) and the Regiment Quartermaster Sergeant (RQMS) Course Series 2025 to various logistics establishments within the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF).
A total of 18 BLOC participants and 10 RQMS participants took part in the visits held from 27 to 28 October 2025, aimed at broadening their understanding of logistics operations and strengthening professional knowledge in the field of military logistics.
The first visit took place at the Logistics Depot, Combat Service Support, Royal Brunei Land Forces (CSS RBLF), Bolkiah Garrison, where participants were exposed to end-to-end logistics processes, including the receipt and processing of unit requests, equipment procurement, and the distribution of supplies to respective units. Participants also had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the roles and responsibilities of the various cells and observe the management and organisation of the storage facilities at the depot.
The second visit was conducted at No. 4 Wing, Support Group, Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Rimba Air Force Base, where participants gained insights into the logistics management structure and support operations within the Royal Brunei Air Force. The visit also enabled participants to observe the organisation and maintenance of storage facilities managed by the Support Group.
The final visit took place at the Directorate of Logistics, Ministry of Defence, Bolkiah Garrison, and began with welcoming remarks by Colonel Haji Abdul Mutalip bin Bujang, Director of Logistics. In his address, he emphasised the importance of logistics in both military and civilian contexts, underscoring its pivotal role in sustaining and enabling operations. He further encouraged participants to learn from the past, improve in the present, and build the future of logistics.
A briefing session was then delivered by Captain Mohd Afiq bin Haji Janaidi, Officer-in-Charge of the Return Store Sub-Depot, Directorate of Logistics, who outlined the directorate's mission, vision, and core values; its organisational structure; and the roles and responsibilities of its various departments in supporting the RBAF and the Ministry of Defence.
The visit concluded with an interactive session between participants and representatives from each department, which enhanced understanding of the collaboration between the Training Institute and the Directorate of Logistics in achieving the directorate's core values of being Sustainable, Professional, Effective, Efficient, and Delivering (SPEED).
Through these study visits, participants gained valuable exposure to real-world logistics operations across the land, air, and strategic defence levels, reinforcing their theoretical learning with practical insights and fostering professional growth as future logisticians of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
LAWATAN SAMBIL BELAJAR BAGI PESERTA KURSUS PEGAWAI LOGISTIK ASAS (BLOC) DAN SARJAN KUARTERMASTER REJIMEN (RQMS) SIRI 2025 KE DEPOH LOGISTIK KHIDMAT BANTUAN KOMBAT TENTERA DARAT DIRAJA BRUNEI; CAWANGAN NO. 4 KUMPULAN BANTU TENTERA UDARA DIRAJA BRUNEI; DAN JABATANARAH LOGISTIK KEMENTERIAN PERTAHANAN
Bandar Seri Begawan, 27-28 Oktober 2025 – Cawangan Latihan Logistik, Sekolah Pertukangan Tentera, Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) telah mengendalikan beberapa lawatan sambil belajar bagi peserta Kursus Pegawai Logistik Asas (BLOC) dan Kuartermaster Sarjan Rejimen (RQMS) Sesi 2025 ke beberapa unit-unit logistik di bawah Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) dan Kementerian Pertahanan.
Seramai 18 peserta BLOC dan 10 peserta RQMS telah menyertai lawatan sambil belajar yang berlangsung dari 27 hingga 28 Oktober 2025, dengan tujuan untuk memperluaskan kefahaman terhadap operasi logistik serta memperkukuhkan pengetahuan profesional dalam bidang logistik ketenteraan.
Lawatan pertama telah diadakan di Depoh Logistik, Khidmat Bantuan Kombat Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (KBK TDDB), Bolkiah Garison. Para peserta telah didedahkan kepada proses logistik secara menyeluruh termasuk penerimaan dan proses permohonan daripada unit, perolehan peralatan dan kelengkapan, serta pengagihan bekalan kepada unit-unit yang berkaitan. Peserta juga berpeluang mengenali peranan dan tanggungjawab setiap sel serta meninjau pengurusan dan penyusunan kemudahan penyimpanan di depoh tersebut.
Lawatan kedua telah diadakan di Cawangan No. 4, Kumpulan Bantu, Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Pangkalan Tentera Udara Rimba. Peserta telah menimba ilmu berkaitan struktur pengurusan logistik dan sokongan operasi pada peringkat udara serta meninjau organisasi dan pengurusan kemudahan penyimpanan di bawah tanggungjawab Cawangan No. 4.
Lawatan terakhir berlangsung di Jabatanarah Logistik, Kementerian Pertahanan, Perkhemahan Bolkiah. Sesi dimulakan dengan ucapan alu-aluan daripada Yang Mulia Kolonel Haji Abdul Mutalip bin Bujang, Pengarah Logistik, yang menekankan kepentingan logistik dalam kehidupan seharian sama ada di dalam atau di luar organisasi ketenteraan. Beliau turut menggalakkan generasi masa kini agar belajar daripada pengalaman lalu, memperbaik masa kini dan membina masa depan bidang logistik.
Sesi diteruskan dengan taklimat yang disampaikan oleh Yang Mulia Kapten Mohd Afiq bin Haji Janaidi, Pegawai Penguasa Stor Penghapusan & Simpanan, yang menerangkan tentang misi, visi dan nilai teras Jabatanarah Logistik, struktur organisasi serta peranan dan tanggungjawab jabatan-jabatan di bawahnya dalam menyokong ABDB, Kementerian Pertahanan dan negara secara keseluruhan.
Lawatan berakhir dengan sesi interaksi antara para peserta kursus dan wakil jabatan-jabatan di bawah Jabatanarah Logistik yang telah memperkukuhkan kefahaman tentang kerjasama antara Institut Latihan dan Jabatanarah Logistik dalam merealisasikan nilai teras logistik iaitu Sustainable, Professional, Effective, Efficient and Deliver (SPEED).
