HEAD OF INSPECTORATE UNIT ROYAL BRUNEI LAND FORCE
Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohamad Huzaimi bin Pehin Datu Harimaupadang Major General (Rtd) Dato Paduka Seri Haji Husin was born on 27 February 1973. He joined the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) on 03 February 1992 and was later sent to the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS), United Kingdom to undergo officer cadet training. Upon his returned, he was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in April 1994.
Throughout his service, he held various appointments including Platoon Commander Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Officer Commanding Rifle Company, Officer Commanding Engineer Squadron, Staff Officer Grade 2 (SO2) G1 RBLF, SO2 J3 Land and SO1 J2 at the Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), and SO1 Administration at the Directorate of Personnel. Later on, he was sent to lead the Brunei Contingent to join the International Monitoring Team – Mission 11 in Mindanao, Philippines. Upon his returned, he was posted as the Head of Inspectorate Unit, RBLF since 2015.
He also attended numerous courses such as the 6th Combat Intelligent Officers Course at the School of Military Intelligent (SMI), Singapore, Platoon Commander Battle Course at the School of Infantry, Warminster, United Kingdom, Royal Engineer Troop Commanders Course at the Royal School of Military Engineer (RMSE) Chattenden Barracks, Kent, All Arms Watermanship Safety Officer Course, Demolitions Safety Officer Examination and Unit Search Advisor Course at RSME, Company Commander Course and Grade 2 Staff and Tactics Course in PULADA, Johor and completed his Command and General Staff College in Thailand.
Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohamad Huzaimi is blessed with 2 sons.
