PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 5 December 2024. The Occupational Health and Safety Training Wing, School of Military Trade, Training Institute, Royal Brunei Armed Forces, held the Closing Ceremony and certificate presentation for 31 Military Personnel who completed the Occupational Health and Safety Supervisors (OHS) Course Series 5/2024.
Aimed to produce skilled, competent and knowledgeable RBAF personnel, the course participants were given a foundation specifically on OHS that provides fundamentals of the importance of Health and Safety Management, acknowledging workplace hazards and risks. These fundamentals are hoped to prepare them to hold their future appointments as OHS Supervisors or Safety Officers to improve RBAF’s health and safety performance.
In attendance as the Guest of Honour to close the ceremony was Lt Kol (U) Hj Asbi bin Hj Anwar, Staff Officer Grade I Inspectorate (OHS) from the Inspectorate Unit Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
MAJLIS PENUTUP KURSUS BAGI KURSUS PENYELIA KESIHATAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA (KKK) SIRI 5/2024
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 5 Disember 2024. Cawangan Latihan Kesihatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, Sekolah Pertukangan Tentera, Institut Latihan, Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei telah mengadakan Majlis Penutupan Kursus serta penyerahan sijil kepada 31 anggota tentera yang telah menamatkan Kursus Penyelia Kesihatan dan Keselamatan Kerja (KKK) Siri 5/2024.
Bertujuan untuk melahirkan kakitangan ABDB yang berkemahiran, kompeten dan berpengetahuan, peserta kursus telah didedahkan mengenai pengetahuan asas khas dalam bidang KKK yang mengutamakan kepentingan Sistem Pengurusan Kesihatan dan Keselamatan Kerja, mengenali bahaya dan risiko di tempat kerja. Pendedahan asas ini diharap dapat mempersiapkan mereka untuk menjawat jawatan sebagai Penyelia atau Pegawai KKK agar dapat menambah baik prestasi kesihatan keselamatan kerja dalam Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis bagi menutup kursus ialah Lt Kol (U) Hj Asbi bin Hj Anwar, Pegawai Turus Inpektorat (KKK) dari Inspektorat Unit Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
