PENANJONG GARISSON, Friday, 24 January 2025 – The Certificate Presentation and Closing Ceremony for the PACE Soldering Workshop Series 01/2025 was successfully held at the Land Technical Training Wing, School of Military Trade, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces. The four days workshop was attended by five participants, comprising three technical teachers from the School of Aviation, IBTE Sultan Saiful Rijal Campus, and two technical teachers from the School of Energy and Engineering Central, IBTE Mechanical Campus.
The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance participants’ skills in advanced soldering techniques, particularly in applications related to microelectronics technology. During the programme, participants had the opportunity to learn high-performance soldering techniques using PACE Soldering Equipment, guided by experienced TEMD instructors Engineer Noridah binti Hj Yahya and Assistant Engineer Nuursaufi Ar-Rasyiqah binti Haji Md. Sofri from Bolkiah Workshop, Land Engineering.
The Land Technical Training Wing will continue to offer this workshop annually to foster collaboration with the Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE). This initiative also demonstrates that the use of PACE Soldering Equipment aligns with the IBTE curriculum and current technological developments.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants by Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Nurulain Rawiah binti Hj Mohd Raub. She congratulated the participants on their dedication throughout the workshop and expressed her hope that the knowledge and skills gained would be applied in various technical and vocational contexts, contributing positively to the development of the nation’s technical education curriculum.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL DAN PENUTUPAN BENGKEL PACE SOLDERING SIRI 01/2025
PENANJONG GARISON, Jumaat, 24 Januari 2025 – Majlis Penyampaian Sijil dan Penutupan Bengkel Pace Soldering Siri 01/2025 telah diadakan di Cawangan Latihan Teknik Darat, Sekolah Pertukangan Tentera Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei. Bengkel empat hari tersebut dihadiri oleh 05 peserta, terdiri daripada 03 guru teknikal dari School of Aviation, IBTE Kampus Sultan Saiful Rijal dan 02 guru teknikal dari School of Energy and Engineering, IBTE Kampus Mekanikal.
Objektif utama bengkel ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemahiran teknik peteri (soldering) khususnya dalam penggunaan teknologi mikroelektronik. Sepanjang program berlangsung, para peserta berpeluang mempelajari teknik pateri lanjutan menggunakan peralatan terkini yang dibawa oleh Jurutera Noridah binti Hj Yahya dan Penolong Jurutera Nuursaufi Ar-Rasyiqah Binti Haji Md. Sofri Jurulatih BPKT dari Woksyop Bolkiah.
Cawangan Latihan Teknikal Darat akan terus menawarkan bengkel ini setiap tahun dalam usaha mengekalkan kerjasama dengan IBTE. Bengkel ini juga menunjukkan bahawa sukatan pelajaran dan penggunaan peralatan PACE Soldering adalah selaras dan relevan dengan kurikulum Institut Pendidikan Teknikal Brunei dan perkembangan semasa.
Majlis diakhiri dengan penyampaian sijil penghargaan kepada peserta-peserta bengkel oleh Yang Mulia Lefttenan Kolonel Nurulain Rawiah binti Hj Mohd Raub, Pegawai Pemerintah SPT. Beliau juga mengucapkan tahniah atas dedikasi mereka sepanjang bengkel tersebut. Beliau berharap ilmu dan kemahiran yang diperoleh dapat digunakan dalam pelbagai vokasional teknikal dan memberikan impak positif kepada pembangunan kurikulum pendidikan teknikal negara.
