PENANJONG GARRISON, Friday 9 September 2016 – Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) launched yet another RBAF Company Commanders Course on Friday, 9 September 2016. The Opening Ceremony was officiated by the Deputy Commandant of the TI RBAF, Lt Col Pg Sharifuddin bin Pg Hj Yusof at the School of Infantry (SOI), TI RBAF.
Also present was the Deputy Chief Instructor TI RBAF, Maj Pg Haji Muhd Abu Bakar bin Pg Haji Tajudin and instructors of the SOI.
The opening ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by Surah Al-A’raf by Maj Mohd Hishamuddin bin Hj Marzoki, one of the course participants. Shortly after, Deputy Commandant TI RBAF gave his opening remarks. In his remarks, among others, he congratulated all 6 RBAF officers who have been accepted to attend this 12 weeks long course. He also mentioned that the course aims to produce officers who are competent and confident in making decision as well as able to practice command and control in given mission across all spectrums of operation. This was followed by Doa recited by Maj Mohd Hishamuddin and finally concluded by a group photo session.
