Lieutenant Colonel Pg Aeddie Masjaffrie Bin Pg Hj Md Ja’afar was enlisted into the Royal Brunei Armed Forces in 1997 and attended the Officer Cadet School in 1998 at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom.
Throughout his career in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces he held various appointments in Command and Staff and which among others include after he completed the Special Forces Regiment (SFR) selection and served as a Troop Leader in January 2004, Officer Commanding Special Task Platoon 1Bn RBLF, Adjutant 2Bn RBLF, Staff Officer 2 Special Operations Directorate of Operations which is now known as Joint Force Headquarters, Ministry of Defence, Assistant Chief of Staff G2 RBLF, Military Assistant to RBAF Commander, Defence Advisor of Negara Brunei Darussalam in Republic Indonesia, Staff Officer 1 Performance Optimisation Centre RBAF.
Lieutenant Colonel Pg Aeddie Masjaffrie has attended various courses locally and internationally which include Republic of Singapore and the United Kingdom.
He was awarded The Most Honourable Order of Setia Negara Brunei Fourth Class (PSB) in 2019.
He is married to Dk Sri Rohayou binti Pg Hj Martarsat and is blessed with three sons. Both of them enjoy sports and travelling.

CHIEF INSTRUCTOR OF TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
LIEUTENANT COLONEL MOHAMAD SAFIZAN BIN AHMAD
Lieutenant Colonel Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad was appointed as the Chief Instructor of the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) on 2nd February 2024. He joined the RBAF on 10th January 2005 at Recruit Company TI RBAF and was then enlisted in the Officer Cadet School, Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute, Military Institute (SAFTI MI), Republic of Singapore in September 2005. Upon commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in June 2006, he served as a Platoon Commander at Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF).
Throughout his career in the RBAF, he held various appointments in Command, Staff, and Instructional posts, which include Platoon Commander, Mortar Officer, and Adjutant at 2Bn RBLF. He took up the post as Officer Commanding of an Infantry Company from 1Bn RBLF and subsequently at 3Bn RBLF. He also had the opportunity to hold the appointment as Officer Commanding of Command Company at 3Bn RBLF. After completing his Command and Staff College in 2021, he then held the post as Directing Staff Officer at School of Infantry RBLF before being appointed as Second In Command at 3Bn RBLF.
Lieutenant Colonel Mohamad Safizan had the opportunity to attend functional courses and participate in military exercises abroad, including those in Australia, Malaysia, and Republic of Singapore.
He is happily married to Pengiran Nur Asyikin binti Pengiran Haji Johari and they have two children. In his leisure time, he loves to travel with his family. He is an avid cycling enthusiast, enjoys physical outdoor activities and likes to play chess.

LIEUTENANT COLONEL MOHAMMAD ZYED NAZRI BIN HAJI ABDULLAH
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Zyed Nazri bin Haji Abdullah was appointed as the Commanding Officer of the School of Military Trade, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) on 12 September 2025. He joined the RBAF on 08 May 2000 at Recruit Company TI RBAF and was then enlisted in the Officer Cadet School, Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom in September 2001. Upon commissioning, he served as a Platoon Commander at Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (3Bn RBLF).
Throughout his career in the RBAF, he held various appointments which includes Platoon Commander, Officer in Command and Logistic Officer. He has served as a Quartermaster Officer for the Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment and Bolkiah Garrison, Officer in Charge Cell C and Management Service and Planning Officer for the Logistic Depot, Combat Service Support, Officer Commanding Company Headquarters RBLF, Staff Officer Grade 2 G4 TI RBAF and SO1 Movement and Transport under the Directorate Logistics
Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Zyed Nazri attended overseas courses in the UK, Wales, Australia and Singapore and was also given the opportunity to undergo overseas mission as a member of the International Monitoring Team in Mindanao, Philippines for a year in 2012.
He is happily married and is blessed with a daughter. His hobbies includes running, outdoor hiking and casual cycling.
OFFICER COMMANDING OF COMPANY RECRUIT, TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
MAJOR MUHAMMAD AZMI BIN ABD LATIF
Major Muhammad Azmi bin Abd Latif began his military career when he enlisted into the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in October 2013 as part of the 11th Intake of the Officer Cadet School in Sungai Akar. He later then commissioned as Lieutenant on 28th August 2014.
Upon Commissioning, he was appointed as Platoon Commander, First Platoon of Alpha Company and later as the 11th Platoon Commander of Delta Company, Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force.
Major Muhammad Azmi has held various appointment in Training. He was appointed as the Intake Commander at the Recruit Company in November 2016 and Wing Commander of the Other Rank Development Wing at the School of Infantry in April 2019. In July 2020, he was appointed as a Platoon Commander and subsequently appointed as the Training Officer at the Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces, in January 2022. He then appointed as the Officer Commanding of Perwira Company at the Royal Guard Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces in February 2023. After Completing the Company Commander Course at School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force, he held the appointment of Officer Commanding Recruit Company, TI RBAF in May 2024.
Major Muhammad Azmi is married to Hajah Nuraqidah bint Haji Sapie and is blessed with a daughter. He enjoy cycling and outdoor activities during free time.

OFFICER COMMANDING OF EVOLUTION CENTRE, TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
MAJOR DAYANGKU NURHAZRIMAH BINTI PENGIRAN HAJI HASSANAN
Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah binti Pengiran Haji Hassanan was appointed as the Officer Commanding of the Evolution Centre Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (EC TI RBAF) on the 25th October 2024. She joined RBAF on 8th October 2010 as part of the 5th Intake of the Officer Cadet School Defence Academy RBAF, Sungai Akar Camp. She later then commissioned as a Lieutenant on 28th July 2011.
Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah began her career in the RBAF as the first female officer to serve in the Military Police (MP) as adjutant. She was then appointed as Investigating Officer of the Special Investigation Branch, MP RBAF. She also served as Staff Officer Grade 3 and later Staff Officer Grade 2 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the Inspectorate Unit RBAF. Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah was then appointed as Officer Commanding of the Special Investigation Branch, MP RBAF. She was later entrusted with setting up the Occupational Health and Safety Training Wing, School of Military Trade TI RBAF as Head of Department whilst assuming the Officer Commanding of the EC TI RBAF post.
She has undergone various courses both locally and internationally such as the Investigation Course for Officers in Malaysian Military Police Training Centre (PULAPOT), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2014, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) from Megamas Training Company in 2019. She has completed her Intermediate Staff Course from the Defence Academy RBAF in 2020.
Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah is married to Major (U) Muhammad Adib bin Hj Hashim and is blessed with 5 beautiful children. She is an avid bowler and has participated in national and international competitions representing the Brunei Darussalam Ten-Pin Bowling Association National Team.

OC OF ADMIN COY, TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
CAPTAIN MUHAMMAD FAIRUZ BIN ROSLI
Captain Muhammad Fairuz bin Rosli began his military career when he enlisted in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) on 24 October 2014 as part of the 13th Intake of the Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy RBAF.
Upon commissioning, he was posted to the 2nd Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF) as the Platoon Commander of No. 5 Platoon, B Company, where he served from 2015 until 2018. He was subsequently appointed as the Platoon Commander of the Special Task Platoon, 2Bn RBLF.
In November 2019, he was posted to the Defence Academy RBAF as Platoon Commander (Land) Officer Cadet School. From 2020 to 2024, he served as the Officer Commanding of the Administration Wing, Defence Academy RBAF.
In accordance with the Armed Forces Order dated 09 October 2024, he was appointed as the Officer Commanding, Administration Company, Training Institute RBAF (TI RBAF), with effect from 11 October 2024.
Throughout his military career, he has attended several professional military courses, including the International Basic Tactics Instructors’ Course at the Infantry Battle School, Breckon, United Kingdom, in 2017, and the Operational Tracking Instructors Course at the Jungle Warfare Division, British Forces Brunei, Seria, in 2018.
REGIMENT SERGEANT MAJOR, TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES
WARRANT OFFICER 1 HAJI HASHIM BIN HJ AWG BESAR @ AWG MOHAMMAD
Warrant 0fficer 1 Haji Hashim Bin Hj Awg Besar @ Awg Mohamad was born on 31st May 1980. He was enlisted in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces on 6th January 1998. On 12th December 2025, he was assigned as a Regiment Sergeant Major of Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces. He started his career serving in A Company, Third Batalion, Royal Brunei Land Forces, in 1998.
Warrant Officer 1 Haji Hashim served into the Mortar Platoon in 2008, and he held the appointment of Company Sergeant Major (CSM) in 2020. In 2022, he held the appointment of Drill Sergeant Major, and finally, he was appointed as the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) of the Third Battalion of the Royal Brunei Land Force in 2024.
Throughout his career he attend various course, among others Paracounsellor Preparation Course, Warrant Officer Leadership and Management Course, Range Safety Officer and Supervisor Course, Platoon Sergeant Course, Pre-Intermediate English Course, Basic Silent and Precision Drill Course, Company Sergeant Major Course, Unit Assistant Security Officer Course, Slaughtering Course, Health and Safety Supervisor Course, RQMS Course, Multi-Rope Abseiling Course, A2–A1 Mortar Upgrading Course, A3–A2 Mortar Upgrading Course, Basic Class 3 Driving Course, Basic Mortar Course, CPO/MFC Course, Junior Warrant Officer Candidate Course, International United Nations Military Observer Course, Basic Signals Course, Briefing for Commanders on the United Nations and UNIFIL, and the Regimental Sergeant Major Course.
Warrant Officer 1 Haji Hashim has also participated in a Royal Brunei Armed Forces Contingent Mission as part of the United Nations peacekeeping force, namely the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), on 20 October 2016.
Warrant Officer 1 Haji Hashim was awarded the General Service Medal (GSM) in 2001, the Golden Jubilee Medal (PJE) in 2011, the Diamond Jubilee Medal (PJI) in 2021, the Meritorious Service Medal (PJK) in 2017, and the Warrior Gallantry Medal (PP) in 2023.
He is married and is blessed with two children. He enjoys playing golf and engaging in sports such as hiking and recreational running.
