PENANJONG GARRISON, Tuesday, 29 October 2024. The Information Technology Wing successfully conducted the Generative AI in Workplace Serial 01/2024 at the Evolution Centre, Training Institute, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
The two-day workshop, held from 28 to 29 October 2024, welcomed a total of 30 military personnel and civilian employees. Led by Cikgu Muhammad Zulfadly bin Awang Haji Ismail from the Information Technology Wing, the workshop aimed to understand the basic concept of generative AI and its function in daily working routines.
Participants will be able to identify and able to use generative AI tools that are relevant to specific job functions. They will also understand how generative AI solves tasks and job problems.
By the end of the workshop, participants were able to identify the definition and basic principles of Generative AI and understand the concept of ethics in the use of AI.

PENANJONG GARISON, Selasa 29 Oktober 2024. Cawangan Teknologi Maklumat telah mengadakan Bengkel Generative AI in Workplace Siri 01/2024 di Pusat Evolusi, Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei.
Seramai 30 anggota tentera dan kakitangan awam telah menyertai bengkel ini bermula 28 Oktober hingga 29 Oktober 2024. Bengkel 02 hari ini telah disampaikan oleh Cikgu Muhammad Zulfadly bin Awang Haji Ismail.
Tujuan bengkel ini diadakan adalah untuk mengenalkan konsep asas AI generatif dan memahami penggunaannya. Seterusnya, mengenal pasti dan menggunakan alat AI generatif yang relevan dengan fungsi kerja tertentu. Peserta kursus juga akan dapat memahami cara AI generatif menyelesaikan masalah yang berkaitan dengan tugas dan pekerjaan.
Pada akhir bengkel ini, peserta kursus berkebolehan mengenal pasti definisi dan prinsip asas AI generatif dan juga memahami konsep etika dalam penggunaan AI.
