PENANJONG GARISSON, Thursday, 24 October 2024. Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) welcomed a group of students from the IBTE Nakhoda Ragam Campus Library Club. A total of 33 students, aged between 17 and 24, accompanied by three supervisors, participated in the educational visit.
The program began with a welcome speech and a safety briefing by the officer, held at the Dewan Gerak Badan, TI RBAF. Following that, the group had the opportunity to watch a demonstration of MST at the swimming pool. The visit continued with an introductory briefing on the various schools within TI RBAF, delivered by officer representatives from respective schools at Bilik Halbi.
The students also had the opportunity to experience a drill demonstration conducted by instructors at the TI RBAF Parade Square, followed by a simulated shooting activity using M16A2 rifles and a mortar simulation at the Training Simulation Centre (TSC) in Penanjong Garrison. The visit concluded with a static exhibition of military assets and equipment from different schools and branches of TI RBAF.
The purpose of the visit was to provide students with exposure to the role and responsibilities of TI RBAF in producing quality military personnel while introducing them to the various training programs conducted at the schools within the Institute.
LAWATAN SAMBIL BELAJAR KELAB PERPUSTAKAAN IBTE KAMPUS NAKHODA RAGAM KE INSTITUT LATIHAN ANGKATAN BERSENJATA DIRAJA BRUNEI
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis 24 Oktober 2024. Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) telah menerima kunjungan rombongan pelajar dari Kelab Perpustakaan IBTE Kampus Nakhoda Ragam. Seramai 33 penuntut berusia antara 17 hingga 24 tahun, bersama 3 orang pengawas, telah menyertai program lawatan sambil belajar tersebut.
Program dimulakan dengan ucapan alu-aluan serta taklimat keselamatan oleh Pegawai Pengerusi acara yang berlangsung di Dewan Gerak Badan, IL ABDB. Selepas itu, rombongan berkesempatan menonton demonstrasi MST di Kolam Renang. Kemudian, lawatan diteruskan dengan taklimat pengenalan mengenai sekolah-sekolah di IL ABDB yang disampaikan oleh wakil pegawai dari setiap sekolah di Bilik Halbi.
Para pelajar juga menyaksikan demonstrasi latihan kawad oleh jurulatih-jurulatih di Padang Kawad IL ABDB, diikuti dengan aktiviti menembak simulasi menggunakan senjata M16A2 serta pertunjukan simulasi Latihan Meriam Katak di Pusat Latihan Simulasi (TSC), Penanjong Garison. Lawatan diakhiri dengan pameran statik mengenai aset dan kelengkapan ketenteraan dari setiap sekolah dan cawangan IL ABDB.
Lawatan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendedahan kepada para pelajar mengenai peranan dan fungsi IL ABDB dalam melahirkan anggota tentera yang berkualiti, di samping memperkenalkan mereka tentang latihan-latihan yang dijalankan di sekolah-sekolah IL ABDB.
