PENANJONG GARRISON, Monday, 15 March 2021 – Colonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Commandant of Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) and entourage made a working visit to Exercise Pahlawan Muda conducted by the Range Management Course (Combatant) 02/2020 (RMC 02/2020) at Binturan Range, Penanjong Garrison. A total of 39 course participants composing of personnel from RBAF, Royal Brunei Police Force, Brunei Prison Department and Internal Security Department participated in the week-long exercise from 09 March 2021 until 15 March 2021.
The visit commenced with a briefing and tour of the Close Quarter Battle Range (CQB Range). The visit then continued with a tour of the Snap Shooting Range followed by a Shooting Match between the Commandant and entourage as well as the RMC course participants. During the Shooting Match, the Adjutant Team emerged as the winner at first place followed by the Commandant Team came at second place. The visit concluded with the prize presentation to the winners of the Shooting Match.
During the visit, the Commandant of TI RBAF highlighted the excellent level of preparation and conduct of the Shooting ranges and hoped that such level of conduct will continue to be improved and practiced at their respective units.
LAWATAN KERJA KOMANDAN INSTITUT LATIHAN KE EKSESAIS PAHLAWAN MUDA
PENANJONG GARISON, Isnin, 15 Mac 2021 – Kolonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Komandan Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) dan rombongan telah mengadakan lawatan kerja ke Eksesais Pahlawan Muda yang dikendalikan oleh Kursus Penyelia dan Pengawas Padang Tembak Siri (Kombatan) 02/2020 di Padang Tembak Binturan, Penanjong Garison. Seramai 39 peserta kursus yang terdiri daripada anggota ABDB, Polis Diraja Brunei, Jabatan Penjara dan Jabatan Keselamatan Dalam Negeri menyertai Eksesais Pahlawan Muda selama seminggu bermula pada 09 Mac 2021 hingga 15 Mac 2021.
Lawatan bermula dengan taklimat dan lawatan ke Padang Tembak Close Quarter Battle (CQB). Lawatan diteruskan dengan lawatan ke Padang Tembak Snap dan diikuti dengan perlawanan menembak diantara Komandan dan rombongan bersama peserta kursus dimana Tim Ajutan
mendapat tempat pertama manakala Tim Komandan mendapat tempat kedua. Lawatan diakhiri dengan penyampaian hadiah kepada pemenang – pemenang perlawanan menembak.
Semasa lawatan tersebut, Komandan IL ABDB merakamkan rasa puas hati dengan tahap persiapan dan pengendalian padang tembak dan berharap ianya akan dipertahankan dan diamalkan semasa pengendalian di unit masing- masing.
