Penanjong Garison, Jumaat, 20 Mei 2022 – Majlis Makan Malam Beradat Sempena Serah Terima Tugas Komandan Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) telah diadakan di Mes Pegawai, Penanjong Garison.
Majlis yang penuh adat dan tradisi ketenteraan ini dihoskan oleh Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Komandan IL ABDB bagi mewakili barisan kepimpinan IL ABDB sebagai memberikan tanda penghormatan dan penghargaan kepada Yang Mulia Kolonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, Mantan Komandan IL ABDB ke 24 atas segala khidmat bakti dan tanda tahniah di atas beliau menjawat jawatan baharu selaku Timbalan Pemerintah Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei.
Ketibaan Mantan Komandan bersama isteri di Mes Pegawai Penanjong Garison dialu alukan oleh Komandan IL ABDB berserta isteri, Lt Kol Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Timbalan Komandan, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan, dan Pegawai-pegawai IL ABDB.
Majlis dimulakan dengan sesi bergambar ramai dan diteruskan dengan resepsi iaitu beramah mesra bersama Pegawai-pegawai IL ABDB. Sejurus selepas itu, Majlis Makan Malam Beradat dimulakan dengan bacaan doa oleh Leftenan Shaikh Shahrul Azhar bin Shaikh Hj Ahmad, Pegawai Ugama Jabatanarah Agama ABDB. Majlis Makan Malam Beradat turut diserikan dengan irama muzik dari Pasukan Pancaragam ABDB. Bagi melengkapkan majlis pada malam itu, kumpulan pipers memainkan bagpipes sebagai salah satu tradisi regimentasi ABDB.
Pada majlis tersebut, Komandan IL ABDB telah menyampaikan ucapan penghargaan kepada Mantan Komandan yang mana turut menyentuh mengenai perkembangan dan pencapaian IL ABDB terutama sekali di dalam mencapai visi dan misi selama Mantan Komandan menerajui kepimpinan di IL ABDB. Di samping itu juga, menyampaikan penghargaan dan terima kasih kepada isteri Mantan Komandan, Hjh Rosnah binti Haji Matamit yang telah menerajui dan mengetuai Cawangan BAKTI IL ABDB. Dalam ucapan balas, Mantan Komandan menyatakan ucapan terima kasih dan penghargaan atas penghormatan dan layanan baik yang telah diberikan kepada beliau dan isteri. Penyampaian cenderahati kepada Mantan Komandan dan isteri dilaksanakan sejurus selepas ucapan.
Sebagai penutup tirai, majlis turut diceriakan lagi dengan mainan pancaragam yang dipimpin oleh Mantan Komandan dan seterusnya diakhiri dengan penandatanganan lembaran kenangan.
Penanjong Garison, Friday, 20 May 2022 – A Regimental Dinner Night in conjunction with the Handover Ceremony of the Commandant of the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) was held at the Officer’s Mess, Penanjong Garrison.
The event full of military traditions and customs was hosted by Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Commandant of the TI RBAF representing the Officers of the TI RBAF, in honour of Yang Mulia Colonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud, the Former and 24th Commandant of TI RBAF and also congratulating the Former Commandant for his new post as the Deputy Commander of Royal Brunei Airforce.
The arrival of the Former Commandant and spouse was welcomed by the Commandant TI RBAF and spouse, Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Deputy Commandant, Senior Officers and Officers of the TI RBAF.
The event commenced with a group photo session followed by welcoming reception. Shortly after, the recital of doa by Lieutenant Shaikh Shahrul Azhar bin Shaikh Haji Ahmad, Religious Officer from RBAF Religious Directorate to mark the start of the Regimental Dinner Night. The event was also enlivened with music performed by the RBAF Band. To complete the event, a group of pipers played the bagpipes as one of the regimental traditions.
The Commandant of the TI RBAF also delivered his speech highlighting developments and achievements during the Former Commandant’s tenure. The Commandant also gave appreciation and thanks to Hjh Rosnah binti Haji Matamit, spouse of the Former Commandant, who has led the TI RBAF BAKTI. In his return speech, the Former Commandant expressed his great appreciation to the respect and cooperation accorded to him and spouse. Shortly after, the event followed by the presentation of tokens of appreciation to the Former Commandant and spouse.
The dinner concluded with the Former Commandant conducting the RBAF band and the signing of parchment.
