PENANJONG GARISSON, Monday 23 November 2015 – The Commandant of Training Institute, 329 Colonel Haji Abidin bin Haji Abd Hamid this afternoon received an introductory call by the new Turkey Defence Attache, Colonel Murat Sekizkardes at The Training Institute Head Quarters.
Also present were the Chief Instructor and Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Force key personnel.
The Commandant of Training Institute congratulated Colonel Murat Sekizkardes on his appointment as the new Defence Attache. The visit focused on further enhancing military training, friendly relationship and bilateral cooperation between them and also to exchange knowledge and experience.
These types of interactions have bolstered the defence cooperation and mutual understanding between two nations. Future initiatives to further strengthen and enhance the professional relationship between them in general were also discussed.
Later they exchanged gifts before proceeding to the firing range and the FIBUA Village. There Colonel Murat Sekizkardes managed to have a closer look at the facilities available in the Training Institute.
