Penanjong Garrison, Thursday, 13 October 2022 – The closing ceremony of the Inaugural Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Conference 2022 was held today at the Halbi Lecture Theatre, Evolution Centre, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF). Present as the Guest of Honour was Colonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat Director of Personnel, Directorate of Personnel, Ministry of Defence. Also in attendance were Commandant of TI RBAF, Senior Officers from Ministry of Defence and RBAF as well as invited guests from Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF), Brunei Fire and Rescue Department (BFRD), Prison Department, Institute of Brunei Technical Education (IBTE), Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and Jungle Warfare Division, British Forces Brunei.
The closing ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah followed by closing remarks from the Guest of Honour and presentation of mementos to all the invited speakers as token of appreciation for their support in making the conference a success. In the closing remarks, the Guest of Honour congratulated TI RBAF for the initiative of the Inaugural Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Conference 2022. He also commended TI RBAF for stepping forward in bringing together all the training units not only within the Ministry of Defence (MINDEF) and RBAF but beyond in sharing perspective, ideas, knowledge to enhancing and diversifying the bridge of cooperation into a more sustainable and resilient in fulfilling national security requirement.
The Training Conference was held for 3 days commencing from 11 October to 13 October 2022 with the theme of “Collaboration and Synergy in Delivering Defence Task”. The conference consists of presentation from invited speakers, syndicate discussion, micro-talks and forum.
MAJLIS PENUTUP THE INAUGURAL ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES TRAINING CONFERENCE 2022
Penanjong Garison, Khamis, 13 Oktober 2022 – Majlis penutupan Inaugural Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Conference 2022 telah berlangsung pada hari ini bertempat di Bilik Kuliah Halbi, Pusat Evolusi, Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB). Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat Majlis adalah Kolonel Muhammad Wata bin Abdullah Awat, Pengarah Keanggotaan, Jabatanarah Keanggotaan, Kementerian Pertahanan. Turut hadir di majlis tersebut ialah Komandan IL ABDB, Pegawai-pegawai Kanan dari Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB serta tetamu-tetamu jemputan dari Pasukan Polis Diraja Brunei, Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat, Jabatan Penjara, Institut Pendidikan Teknikal Brunei (IBTE), Pendidikan Teknikal dan Latihan Vokasional (TVET) dan Jungle Warfare Division, British Forces Brunei.
Majlis penutupan persidangan tersebut dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diteruskan dengan ucapan penutupan persidangan daripada Tetamu Kehormat dan penyampaian cenderahati kepada pembentang-pembentang jemputan sebagai tanda penghargaan atas sumbangan serta sokongan di dalam menjayakan persidangan tersebut. Dalam ucapan penutupan, Tetamu Kehormat Majlis mengucapkan syabas dan tahniah di atas inisiatif persidangan Inaugural Royal Brunei Armed Forces Training Conference 2022. Beliau juga memberikan penghargaan kepada IL ABDB kerana telah menyatukan unit-unit Latihan di dalam Kementerian Pertahanan dan ABDB serta agensi-agensi luar dalam perkongsian perspektif, idea dan pengetahuan untuk meningkatkan dan mempelbagaikan kerjasama yang mampan dan berdaya tahan dalam memenuhi keperluan keselamatan negara.
Persidangan latihan yang bertemakan “Collaboration and Synergy in Delivering Defence Task” berlangsung selama tiga (03) hari bermula dari 11 Oktober hingga 13 Oktober 2022. Persidangan ini merangkumi pembentangan dari pembentang-pembentang jemputan, perbincangan sindiket, micro-talks dan forum.
