Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB) hari ini telah mengadakan Majlis Khatam Al-Qur'an sempena Upacara Tamat Latihan Rekrut Lelaki Pengambilan ke-168 bertempat di Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garison. Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat pada majlis tersebut
ialah Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Komandan IL ABDB. Turut hadir pada majlis tersebut ialah Timbalan Komandan IL ABDB, Pegawai - Pegawai Kanan, Pegawai - Pegawai dan warga IL ABDB.
Peserta Khatam seramai terdiri dari 293 anggota rekrut lelaki (berugama Islam) pengambilan ke-168 yang telah membuat pembacaan Al-Qur'an di sepanjang menjalani latihan asas ketenteraan.
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Say'yidul Istighfar dan diteruskan dengan bacaan surah - surah Khatam Al-Qur'an, bacaan Takhtim dan laungan Dikir Marhaban beramai - ramai. Seterusnya, Yang Mulia Tetamu Kehormat telah menyampaikan Mushaf Al-Quran ABDB terbitan khas sempena Jubli Intan kepada kesemua para rekrut lelaki yang ikut serta dalam Majlis Khatam Al-Qur'an tersebut.
Majlis kemudian diteruskan dengan Solat Sunat Dhuha dan diikuti dengan bacaan doa dan laungan selawat beramai-ramai sebelum disempurnakan dengan doa penutup majlis.
KHATAM AL-QUR'AN CEREMONY IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 168TH MALE RECRUITMENT PASSING OUT PARADE
Penanjong Garisson, Monday, 13 June 2022 – Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) today held a Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony at Surau Al-Hikmah, Penanjong Garisson, in conjunction with the 168th Male Recruits prior to their upcoming Passing Out Parade. Out of 302 recruits, 293 (Muslim) recruits participated in the Khatam Al-Qur'an Ceremony. These recruits underwent Al-Qur'an basic reading and recitation session as part of their basic military training.
Present as the Guest of Honor at the ceremony was Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Pengiran Noor Rumaizi bin Pengiran Othman, Commandant of TI RBAF. Also in attendance were the Deputy Commandant, Senior Officers, Officers and staff of the TI RBAF.
The ceremony began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and continued with the recitation of surah - surah Khatam Al -Qur'an, recitation of Takh'tim and Dikir Marhaban by all attendees. Subsequently, the Guest of Honor presented the RBAF Mushaf Al-Quran specially issued in conjunction with the RBAF's 60th Diamond Jubilee to all the male recruits who participated in the Al-Qur'an Khatam Ceremony.
The ceremony then continued with the Sunat Dhuha Prayer and was followed by the recitation of Do'a and Selawat to end the ceremony.
