PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 31 Januari 2019 – Majlis Penutupan Kursus Kepimpinan Sarjan Siri 2/2018, Cawangan Kepimpinan dan Pengurusan telah berlangsung di Bilik Halbi, Pusat Evolusi IL ABDB. Seramai 48 anggota berpangkat Sarjan telah mengikuti kursus ini yang terdiri dari 44 peserta lelaki dan 04 peserta wanita masing-masing daripada Kementerian Pertahanan seramai 17 anggota, Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei seramai 30 anggota, dan Polis Diraja Brunei seramai 01 anggota.
Kursus yang dijalankan selama empat minggu ini telah memberi pendedahan yang mendalam tentang nilai-nilai dan kriteria-kriteria kepimpinan yang menjadi asas dan garis pandu ke arah peningkatan diri bukan saja dalam bidang ketenteraan bahkan juga pendidikan. Selain itu, ia juga bertujuan untuk meningkatkan taraf kemahiran kepimpinan melalui pengasuhan bakat dalam bidang ilmu pengetahuan, melalui pengalaman, keterampilan peribadi dan kemahiran pengurusan sebagai usaha ke arah membentuk warga ABDB yang cemerlang dan produktif.
17723 Pmk Sjn Zainal bin Haji Tudin, dari unit Polis Tentera ABDB telah merangkul ‘Penuntut Terbaik Amali’ sekaligus ‘Penuntut Terbaik Keseluruhan’ manakala ‘Penuntut Terbaik Akademik’ diberikan kepada 17239 Pmk Sjn Pg Zurazmihamady bin Pg Ahmad dari Pancaragam ABDB. Penuntut Terbaik Penerbitan Esei Individu’ diberikan kepada 16883 Pmk Sjn Hj Muhd Shafie bin Mohammad dari 1Bn TDDB sementara 17021 Pmk Sjn Mahathir bin Hj Abd Hamis, TLDB dari Kementerian Pertahanan telah mendapat ‘Penuntut Terbaik Pembentangan Esei Individu’.
Tetamu Kehormat bagi majlis penutupan tersebut ialah Yang Mulia Mejar Dyg Siti Nur’Afiqah binti Awg Hj Morsidi, Ketua Cawangan Latihan Kerani, Sekolah Pertukangan Tentera, IL ABDB. Turut hadir dimajlis tersebut ialah Pegawai-Pegawai, guru dan jurulatih-jurulatih yang turut sama mengajar dan mencurahkan ilmu sepanjang kursus ini dijalankan.
Acara kemuncak bagi majlis tersebut diikuti dengan penutupan rasmi Kursus Kepimpinan Sarjan Siri 2/2018. Majlis disudahi dengan bacaan doa selamat dan acara bergambar.

PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 31 Januari 2019 – The Closing Ceremony of Sergeant Leadership Course Session 2/2018, Leadership and Management Wing was held at Halbi Lecture Room, Evolution Centre, TI RBAF. A total of 48 participants with the ranking of sergeant has attended the course, which consisted of 44 males and 08 female from Ministry of Defense 17 participants, RBLF with total of 30 participants and from Royal Brunei Police Force 01 participants. The course run for four weeks has provided an immersive exposure about the values and criteria that underline the leadership and guidelines towards self-improvement not only in the military sphere, but also in education. Furthermore, it also aims to improve the leadership skills through nurturing of talent in the field of knowledge, experience, personal and management skills towards creating excellent and productive RBAF personnel.
21320 Act Sgt Nurul Zianah Binti Abd Latif, from RBAF Military Legal Unit, has achieved ‘Best Student in Academic’ and ‘Best Student Overall’ while ‘Best Student in Practical’ and Best Student in Paperwork Presentation was held by 16334 Act Sgt Omar Bin Awang Hj Abas from Security Defence Department. Meanwhile, 15354 Act Sgt Mohammad Amirulnizam Bin Hj Mat Umar was awarded ‘Best Student in Individual Essay Writing and ‘Best Syndicate Overall’ was given to Syndicate 4 (13236 Act Sgt Norsariney bin Lakim, 15056 Act Sgt Pg Raffazillah bin Pg Md Rani, 16856 Act Sgt Mohd Affendi bin Awg Ali Omar, 17310 Act Sgt Abd Alim bin Hj Mohammad, 17329 Act Sgt Hj Shahalizam bin Hj Yunos, 18078 Act Sgt Muhd Ady Junayd bin Abdullah Serani, 18125 Act Sgt Aiman bin Peramli dan 21320 Act Sgt Nurul Zianah bin Abd Latif).

The Guest of Honour for the event was Yang Mulia Major Dyg Siti Nur Afiqah binti Hj Awg Morsidi, Head of Department of Clerical Training Wing, School of Military Trade, TI RBAF. Also present was senior officers, teachers and instructors who were involved in teaching and impart of knowledge throughout the course.
The highlight of the ceremony was followed by the official closing of Sergeant Leadership Course Session 2/2018. The ceremony ended with the recitation of doa and group photo session.
