PENANJONG GARISSON, Monday 10 October 2016 – Commandant of Training Institute, Colonel Awang Khairul Hamed bin Awang Haji Lampoh this afternoon received an introductory call by the new Defence Advisor People’s Republic of China, Senior Colonel Wu Geng at The Training Institute Head Quarters. Also present were the Assistance Chief Instructor.
Upon arrival, Comandant of Training Institute expressed his congratulation to Senior Colonel Wu Geng on his appointment as the new Defence Advisor. The visit focused on further enhancing, military training, friendly relationship and bilateral cooperation between them and also exchange knowledge and experience.
These types of interactions have bolstered the Defence cooperation and mutual understanding between two nation. Future initiatives to further strengthen the professional relationship between them in general were also discussed.
The working visit ended with the Commandant of Training Institute and the new Advisor People’s Republic of China Defence advisor exchange gifts and later end the visit with a picture taking session.
