PENANJONG GARISSON, Tuesday 20 October 2015 – Commandant of Training Institute, 329 Colonel Haji Abidin bin Haji Abd Hamid this morning received a farewell call and introductory call by the outgoing Indonesian Defence Attache, Colonel Sun Suripto dan Colonel (CZI) Widiyanto at The Training Institute Head Quarters.
Also present were the Deputy Commandant of Training Institute, Chief Instructor and Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Force key personal. The Training Institute Headquarters RBAF key personnel.
Comandant of Training Institute expressed his congratulation to Colonel (CZI) Widiyanto on his appointment as the new Defence Attache. The Comandant also expressed his pleasure to the outgoing Indonesian Defence Attache, which share a cordial and active defence relationship with each other and wish Colonel Sun Suripto well.
During the tenure of Colonel Sun Suripto, he contributed profoundly to the enhancement of the long standing relationship and bilateral cooperation between both Indonesia and Training Institute.
These types of interactions have bolstered the defence cooperation and mutual understanding between two nation. Future initiatives to further strengthen the professional relationship between them in general were also discussed.
