PENANJONG GARRISON, Thursday, 18 September 2025 – The Closing Ceremony for Warrant Officers Leadership and Management Course Serial 1/2025 was held this morning at the Halbi Room, Evolution Centre, Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF).
In attendance as the Guest of Honour was Yang Mulia Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Acting Commandant TI RBAF. Also present were senior officers, invited officers from various RBAF units, education officers, Force Sergeant Major RBAF, Sergeant Majors, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, and Leadership and Management instructors.
The Warrant Officer’s Leadership and Management Course 2024 was conducted over eight weeks, from 28 July 2025 to 19 September 2025. It was attended by seventy participants from the Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF), Royal Brunei Navy (RBN), Royal Brunei Air Force (RBAirF), Ministry of Defence, Special Forces Regiment (SFR), Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ) and Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF).
The Certificate Presentation and the Official Closing Ceremony began with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah, followed by a speech from a representative of the course participants. Next, the presentation of certificates to the course participants was performed by the Guest of Honour. Next, the Guest of Honour presented certificates to the course participants.
The following session was graced by a speech from the Guest of Honour, who expressed congratulations and commendations to the course participants for the successful completion of the course. The remarks included, but were not limited to, the importance of values and characteristics of leadership, as well as moral personality as a leader, guided by the practices and concepts of the core values of RBAF. This is to be instilled in every participant to become a capable, efficient, and competent Senior NCO who will play a crucial role in assisting in the administration and leadership of subordinates as the backbone of the higher authorities. He also reminded the course participants of the role and responsibilities of a leader who embodies complete trust and honesty. In addition, he advised that course participants should set the best example for their subordinates by being professional, possessing integrity, staying disciplined, and exhibiting high skills and personality.
The event concluded with a closing prayer and a group photo session.
MAJLIS PENYAMPAIAN SIJIL DAN PENUTUPAN RASMI KURSUS KEPIMPINAN DAN PENGURUSAN PEGAWAI WARAN SIRI 1/2025
PENANJONG GARISON, Khamis, 18 September 2025 – Majlis Penyampaian Sijil dan Penutupan Rasmi Kursus Kepimpinan dan Pengurusan Pegawai Waran Siri 1/2025 telah berlangsung di Bilik Halbi, Pusat Evolusi Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB).
Hadir selaku Tetamu Kehormat ialah Yang Mulia Leftenan Kolonel Mohammad Fakaruddin Zuraidie bin Haji Ramli, Pemangku Komandan IL ABDB. Turut hadir ialah Pegawai-pegawai Kanan IL ABDB, Pegawai-pegawai jemputan daripada pelbagai unit ABDB, Pegawai-pegawai Pelajaran, Sarjan Mejar ABDB, Sarjan Mejar-Sarjan Mejar, PTB-PTB Kanan dan Jurulatih-jurulatih Cawangan Kepimpinan dan Pengurusan, Pusat Evolusi IL ABDB.
Kursus Kepimpinan dan Pengurusan Pegawai Waran Siri 1/2025 telah dikendalikan selama lapan (08) minggu bermula 28 Julai 2025 hingga 19 September 2025. Seramai 70 anggota telah menghadiri kursus ini yang terdiri daripada Tentera Darat Diraja Brunei (TDDB), Tentera Laut Diraja Brunei (TLDB), Tentera Udara Diraja Brunei (TUDB), Kementerian Pertahanan, Rejimen Pasukan Khas (RPK), Markas Angkatan Bersama (MAB) dan Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (IL ABDB).
Majlis dimulakan dengan bacaan Surah Al-Fatihah dan diikuti dengan ucapan daripada wakil peserta kursus. Seterusnya penyampaian sijil kepada para peserta kursus yang telah disempurnakan oleh Yang Mulia Tetamu Kehormat Majlis. Majlis seterusnya diserikan dengan ucapan daripada Yang Mulia Tetamu Kehormat yang menzahirkan ucapan tahniah dan syabas kepada ahli kursus kerana telah berjaya menamatkan kursus.
Yang Mulia Tetamu Kehormat juga telah menyentuh tentang kepentingan nilai dan ciri-ciri kepimpinan serta keperibadian akhlak sebagai seorang pemimpin berpandukan kepada amalan dan konsep nilai-nilai teras ABDB untuk ditanamkan kepada setiap ahli kursus agar dapat menjadi seorang PTB Kanan yang berkebolehan, berkeupayaan, efisien dan kompeten yang akan memainkan peranan penting untuk membantu mentadbir dan memimpin anggota di bawah kepimpinan selaku tulang belakang kepada pihak atasan. Beliau jua mengingatkan kepada ahli kursus tentang peranan dan tanggungjawab sebagai seorang pemimpin yang amanah dan penuh kejujuran. Di samping itu, beliau menasihati ahli kursus untuk menjadi contoh yang terbaik kepada anggota bawahan yang dipimpin dengan sifat profesional, berintegriti, berdisiplin dengan keterampilan dan keperibadian yang tinggi.
Majlis diakhiri dengan bacaan doa penutup dan sesi bergambar ramai.
