Lieutenant Colonel Pg Aeddie Masjaffrie Bin Pg Hj Md Ja’afar was enlisted into the Royal Brunei Armed Forces in 1997 and attended the Officer Cadet School in 1998 at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, United Kingdom.

Throughout his career in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces he held various appointments in Command and Staff and which among others include after he completed the Special Forces Regiment (SFR) selection and served as a Troop Leader in January 2004, Officer Commanding Special Task Platoon 1Bn RBLF, Adjutant 2Bn RBLF, Staff Officer 2 Special Operations Directorate of Operations which is now known as Joint Force Headquarters, Ministry of Defence, Assistant Chief of Staff G2 RBLF, Military Assistant to RBAF Commander, Defence Advisor of Negara Brunei Darussalam in Republic Indonesia, Staff Officer 1 Performance Optimisation Centre RBAF.

Lieutenant Colonel Pg Aeddie Masjaffrie has attended various courses locally and internationally which include Republic of Singapore and the United Kingdom. 

He was awarded The Most Honourable Order of Setia Negara Brunei Fourth Class (PSB) in 2019.

He is married to Dk Sri Rohayou binti Pg Hj Martarsat and is blessed with three sons. Both of them enjoy sports and travelling.

CHIEF INSTRUCTOR OF TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES

​​​​LIEUTENANT COLONEL MOHAMAD SAFIZAN BIN AHMAD

Lieutenant Colonel Mohamad Safizan bin Ahmad was appointed as the Chief Instructor of the Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF) on 2nd February 2024. He joined the RBAF on 10th January 2005 at Recruit Company TI RBAF and was then enlisted in the Officer Cadet School, Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute, Military Institute (SAFTI MI), Republic of Singapore in September 2005. Upon commissioning as a Second Lieutenant in June 2006, he served as a Platoon Commander at Second Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (2Bn RBLF).
Throughout his career in the RBAF, he held various appointments in Command, Staff, and Instructional posts, which include Platoon Commander, Mortar Officer, and Adjutant at 2Bn RBLF. He took up the post as Officer Commanding of an Infantry Company from 1Bn RBLF and subsequently at 3Bn RBLF. He also had the opportunity to hold the appointment as Officer Commanding of Command Company at 3Bn RBLF. After completing his Command and Staff College in 2021, he then held the post as Directing Staff Officer at School of Infantry RBLF before being appointed as Second In Command at 3Bn RBLF.
Lieutenant Colonel​ Mohamad Safizan had the opportunity to attend functional courses and participate in military exercises abroad, including those in Australia, Malaysia, and Republic of Singapore.
He is happily married to Pengiran Nur Asyikin binti Pengiran Haji Johari and they have two children. In his leisure time, he loves to travel with his family. He is an avid cycling enthusiast, enjoys physical outdoor activities and likes to play chess.

HEAD OF INSPECTORATE CELL, TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES

MAJOR MUHAMMAD AMIN BIN AWANG HAJI MAHMUD 

​​​​Major Muhammad Amin bin Awang Haji Mahmud was born on the 01st of March 1977. He joined the Royal Brunei Armed Forces as a recruit on 18th December 2000 and served as Platoon Commander in 1st Batallion, Royal Brunei Armed Forces (1st Bn RBLF). 

Throughout his career in the Royal Brunei Armed Forces, he held various appointments in Command and Staff posts, such as Quartermaster Officer of the Support Battalion, Quartermaster Officer, Staff Officer 2 Logistic Officer and Officer Commanding (O.C Admin) at the Training Institute, Officer Commanding (O.C Admin) at Defence Academy, and Staff Officer 1 Housing at the Ministry of Defence. His is currently holding the appointment as the Head of Inspectorate of the Training Institute, Royal Brunei Armed Forces.  ​

He has undergone various courses both locally and internationally such as Abseil Resupply System Instructor & Desp, Abseil Resupply Packing and Rigging and Multi-rope Abseiling (MRA) in 8 August 2003, Platoon Commander’s course in 20 February 2009,  Junior Staff Course in 18 December 2009, Officers Mandatory Security Awareness in 13 May 2011, Logistics Officers Course in 31 August 2012, Psychology of Leadership Course in 01 November 2013 and Safety Management System Audit Course in 26 February 2014.

He is married to Hajah Khartini binti Haji Awang Mohd Daud and they are blessed with a son and he enjoys reading book during his leisure time.

OFFICER COMMANDING OF COMPANY RECRUIT, TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES

MAJOR MUHAMMAD AZMI BIN ABD LATIF

Major Muhammad Azmi bin Abd Latif began his military career when he enlisted into the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) in October 2013 as part of the 11th Intake of the Officer Cadet School in Sungai Akar. He later then commissioned as Lieutenant on 28th August 2014.

Upon Commissioning, he was appointed as Platoon Commander, First Platoon of Alpha Company and later as the 11th Platoon Commander of Delta Company, Third Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force.

Major Muhammad Azmi has held various appointment in Training. He was appointed as the Intake Commander at the Recruit Company in November 2016 and Wing Commander of the Other Rank Development Wing at the School of Infantry in April 2019. In July 2020, he was appointed as a Platoon Commander and subsequently appointed as the Training Officer at the Officer Cadet School, Defence Academy Royal Brunei Armed Forces, in January 2022. He then appointed as the Officer Commanding of Perwira Company at the Royal Guard Regiment, Royal Brunei Land Forces in February 2023. After Completing the Company Commander Course at School of Infantry Royal Brunei Land Force, he held the appointment of Officer Commanding Recruit Company, TI RBAF in May 2024.

Major Muhammad Azmi is married to Hajah Nuraqidah bint Haji Sapie and is blessed with a daughter. He enjoy cycling and outdoor activities during free time.​

OFFICER COMMANDING OF EVOLUTION CENTRE, TRAINING INSTITUTE ROYAL BRUNEI ARMED FORCES


MAJOR DAYANGKU NURHAZRIMAH BINTI PENGIRAN HAJI HASSANAN

 

Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah binti Pengiran Haji Hassanan was appointed as the Officer Commanding of the Evolution Centre Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (EC TI RBAF) on the 25th October 2024. She joined RBAF on 8th October 2010 as part of the 5th Intake of the Officer Cadet School Defence Academy RBAF, Sungai Akar Camp. She later then commissioned as a Lieutenant on 28th July 2011.

Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah began her career in the RBAF as the first female officer to serve in the Military Police (MP) as adjutant. She was then appointed as Investigating Officer of the Special Investigation Branch, MP RBAF. She also served as Staff Officer Grade 3 and later Staff Officer Grade 2 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) in the Inspectorate Unit RBAF. Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah was then appointed as Officer Commanding of the Special Investigation Branch, MP RBAF. She was later entrusted with setting up the Occupational Health and Safety Training Wing, School of Military Trade TI RBAF as Head of Department whilst assuming the Officer Commanding of the EC TI RBAF post.

She has undergone various courses both locally and internationally such as the Investigation Course for Officers in Malaysian Military Police Training Centre (PULAPOT), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2014, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the National Examination Board in Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) from Megamas Training Company in 2019. She has completed her Intermediate Staff Course from the Defence Academy RBAF in 2020.

Major Dayangku Nurhazrimah is married to Major (U) Muhammad Adib bin Hj Hashim and is blessed with 5 beautiful children. She is an avid bowler and has participated in national and international competitions representing the Brunei Darussalam Ten-Pin Bowling Association National Team.​

WARRANT OFFICER CLASS ONE (WO1) MOHAMMAD DINO ERWANDY BIN ABDUL RAHIM

 

Warrant Officer Class One (WO1) Mohammad Dino Erwandy  bin Abdul Rahim currently holds as the Regiment Sergeant Major of Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF). His most recent assignment was serving as Drill Sergeant Major of First Battalion RBLF. He was born on 10th September 1979 and joined the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) on August 16,1998.

After completing his Basic Military Training, he was posted to the First Battalion Royal Brunei Land Force (RBLF) on March 5, 1999. WO1 Mohammad Dino Erwandy bin Abdul Rahim Junior and Senior Non-Commissioned Officer roles were spread between Mortar Platoon and Armoured Personnel Carrier Platoon of First Battalion RBLF.

During his service in the organisation, he has served in various vital appointments such as Drill Sergeant Major First Battalion in 2021, Company Sergeant Major of Command Company First Battalion RBLF in 2020, Company Sergeant Major of C Company First Battalion RBLF in 2019 as well as Company Sergeant Major of RBAF Contingent (Malbatt 850-5) in 2018. 

WO1 Mohammad Dino Erwandy bin Abdul Rahim awards and distinctions include the Pahlawan Periwara Medal in 2021, the General Service Medal in 1999, the Long Service and Good Conduct RBAF in 2020, the Armed Forces Golden Jubilee RBAF in 2011 and the United Nations Peacekeeping Service Medal in 2018.

WO1 Mohammad Dino Erwandy bin Abdul Rahim’s professional military education includes overseas courses such as Regimental Sergeant Major Course at Singapore Armed Forces Warrant Officer Leadership School. Several of his best achievements from the local courses and competitions he attended are such as overall best Mortar Fire Controller and Command Post Operator Course in 2007, overall best Advance Mortar Course in 2004, overall best Intermediate Mortar Course in 2002 and overall best Mortar Cadre Course in 2000 as well as Best Company Sergeant Major Pace Stick Competition in 2020.

​WO1 Mohammad Dino Erwandy bin Abdul Rahim is happily married to his wife, Siti Maymun binti Haji Khamis, and blessed with one daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys cycling and playing guitar.​
