LAWATAN KOMANDAN IL ABDB KE KAWASAN LATIHAN EKSESAIS PAHLAWAN MANTAP

temb5.jpgKG MERIAM, Selasa 24 November 2020 – Komandan Institut Latihan Angkatan Bersenjata Brunei (IL ABDB), Kolonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud telah membuat lawatan bagi Eksesais Pahlawan Mantap yang sedang dilaksanakan selama 7 hari bermula pada 20 November 2020 sehingga 26 November 2020 bertempat di Kg Meriam, Temburong. 

Eksesais tersebut adalah gabungan tiga kursus yang dikendalikan oleh Sekolah Infantri IL ABDB yang terdiri daripada 6 peserta kursus dari Kursus Ketua Kompeni Siri 6/2020, 19 anggota daripada Kursus Tempur Ketua Platun Siri 1/2020, 39 anggota daripada Kursus Tempur Platun Sarjan Sesi 2020 dan 24 anggota daripada Kursus Pengesan Tempur Sesi 2020 bersama dengan bantuan aset daripada unit K9, Pasukan Simpanan Gurkha (GRU). 

Sepanjang lawatan tersebut, Yang Mulia Komandan telah menyaksikan secara dekat perlaksanaan latihan serangan hendap yang dirancang bagi peringkat Kompeni serta menjejak musuh yang telah melarikan diri dengan serangan yang tidak dirancang. Sebagai kesinambungan daripada penjejakan musuh berikutan daripada serangan hendap, Yang Mulia Komandan turut berkesempatan menyaksikan tindakan susulan peserta kursus Pengesan Tempur bersama dengan unit K9, GRU dalam melaksanakan Multisense Awareness (MSA) yang mana peserta kursus perlu membuat pengesanan perangkap serta keberadaan musuh berdasarkan kemahiran deria bau, penglihatan dan pendengaran. 

Dengan adanya eksesais gambungan seperti ini, ianya akan dapat mencapai matlamat latihan iaitu membina keyakinan dan kecekapan anggota dalam memegang tanggungjawab yang menyeluruh serta delegasi tugas aspek pelajaran Tipu Helah Perang. Melalui eksesais ini, peserta kursus turut dinilai secara amali dalam aspek kepimpinan dalam perlaksanaan operasi Hutan. Lawatan diakhiri dengan sesi bergambar ramai bersama para Juruarah, Jurulatih-jurulatih serta anggota bantuan.

COMMANDANT TI RBAF VISIT TO EXERCISE PAHLAWAN MANTAP TRAINING SITE

KG MERIAM, Tuesday 24 November 2020 – Commandant Training Institute Royal Brunei Armed Forces (TI RBAF), Colonel (U) Haji Haszahaidi bin Haji Ahmad Daud has conducted a site visit to Kg Meriam, Temburong in conjunction with the conduct of the 7-day Exercise Pahlawan Mantap that is currently ongoing from 20 November 2020 to 26 November 2020. 

The Exercise itself is a collaborative effort from four of the Infantry-based courses organised by School of Infantry, TI RBAF that involves 6 officers from Company Commander Course Ser 6/2020, 19 course participants from Platoon Commander Course Ser 1/2020, 39 personnel from the Platoon Sergeant Course Ser 2020, 24 course participants from the Jungle Tracking Course Ser 2020 along with the supporting elements of the exercise from the K9 Unit from Gurkha Reserve Unit (GRU). 

Throughout the visit, the Commandant had a closer look at the execution of Snap Ambush at a Company level strength and proceeded to engaged in Hot Pursuit in efforts to eliminate the enemy through series of hasty attacks. Subsequently fitting the exercise narratives, the Commandant then proceeded to witness the conduct of Multisense Awareness (MSA) by the course participants from Jungle Tracking Course and K9 Unit in tracking the scattered enemy remnants and possible traps through three of the primary senses; Auditory, Visual and Olfactory senses.

It is hoped that the conduct of Exercise Pahlawan Mantap would teach course participants on the basic knowledge of infantry tactics and develop them into competent and confident soldiers that capable of delivering sensible decision making, decisive action, elaborate command and control. 

The exercise also enables those involved to familiarise their respective roles, organization and employment of an Infantry company and the relevant levels of combat support particularly in the conduct of Jungle warfare. The visit ends with a group commemorative photo with Directing Staffs, Instructors and Supporting elements of the Exercise.
